I was the sort of human being
Who'd obtain magic on the bottom,
As if the secret to real Pleasure
was a thing remaining lying all around.
I’d pull it out of library publications
their web pages ripped and worn,
And swore that I could see it
within the air prior to a storm.
In the event you’re wary to believing
I’m no stranger to distrust,
Again then all I located in library textbooks
was the smell of moths and mud.
And despite kisskindness my every guarantee
that every rainbow holds a thing kiss gold.
That no one born in heritage
as ever been peaceful bold.
Right until I instructed them through my smile
that believing is The important thing.
You can not transform how the earth appears to be like
until eventually you alter how men and women see.
